A noted pro-life leader is refusing an honor from the University of Notre Dame.
Harvard Law professor Mary Ann Glendon has written
an open letter to Notre Dame president John Jenkins, refusing the prestigious Laetare Medal and a chance to speak at the school's commencement ceremony on May 17. However, President Obama will give a commencement speech and receive an honorary degree at the event.
