A Connecticut organization is calling for the termination of the state's ethics office chair Carol Carson.
The controversy began when two members of the legislature submitted and then withdrew a bill that would have given control of the church to the state. Afterwards, the state ethics office launched an investigation based on the Roman Catholic diocese of Bridgeport, busing in people to oppose the bill. (

Bishop Council Nedd of the Episcopal Missionary Church, who heads an organization called
In God We Trust, wants the governor to fire Carson and Ethics Enforcement Officer Thomas Jones, who was in charge of the investigation.
(No state or government should be in charge of a church. Isn't that why those who put America together left England. Perhaps some leaders in Connecticut would rather go to work for the government of Cuba.)
