14 years later, debate continues on Abortion Law

The Illinois parental notification law for abortions on underage children is back in court.

The law passed in 1995 has been tossed around by the courts in one fashion or another since implementation of the statute was blocked -- that is, until a federal appeals court recently approved it and ordered its implementation.

"Now the ACLU has run into court again, and they're asking that the law be stopped by a state court on the basis that our state constitution creates its own right of abortion," Brechja reports.

(What is wrong with the ACLU that it doesn’t parents to know before their under age children have an abortion. If the child gets sick after an abortion is the ACLU going to call 911, or a doctor. Of course not! The ACLU is just in the pockets of  the pro death camp. Read more on this issue  Illinois abortion law.)
