Well we are still in the middle of a Christmas Snow storm here in the middle of America. They are encouraging people to change their planes far as family gatherings go. (Read about this storm,
Brutal storm roars on ) We saw part of our family early yesterday before it got bad.
A large number of churches including mine called off their Christmas Eve services and others called off their Christmas Day services. Last Christmas I went to a candle light service at my church around 6:00 P.M. and then took my mom to a midnight MASS at her Catholic Church. We had planned to do the same this year but because of the snow we had to call that off. It is good to know we can worship the Lord and honor his birth no matter if we are in a church or some place else. Besides the Bible teaches us who are true followers of Jesus are the church. You see the Bible teaches the true church is not some building but a group of people who know the Lord and are under the Lordship of his word- the Bible.
