Tebow to appear in pro-life Super Bowl ad

Former University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow and his mother will appear in a 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl next month. ( Tebow to appear in pro-life Super Bowl ad )

The Christian group Focus on the Family says the Tebows will share a personal story on the theme "Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life."

The group isn't releasing details, but the commercial is likely to be a pro-life message chronicling Pam Tebow's 1987 pregnancy. After getting sick during a mission trip to the Philippines, she ignored a recommendation by doctors to abort her fifth child and gave birth to Tim.

(I know a lot of University of Florida  Gator fans are glad that Tim's mom didn't abort. I can't wait to see this spot.  It just might be another good reason to view the Super Bowl even if your team is not in-it.)

Will 'angry' voters install a Republican senator?

Tomorrow voters in Massachusetts will decide who will succeed the late Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy. Early on in the race, Democratic State Attorney General Martha Coakley was considered a shoo-in for the seat, but Republican State Senator Scott Brown -- a relative unknown six months ago -- has surged to a lead in some polls.
Brian Camenker, director of the conservative activist group MassResistance!, says residents of one of the bluest states in the nation are growing weary of the current legislative activity in Washington. (Will 'angry' voters install a Republican senator?  )

"There's a lot of anger even here in Massachusetts at the whole Obama agenda -- particularly the healthcare situation," he
points out. "A majority of people in the state don't like it; and even a majority of the people in the state don't like Obama anymore, even though he won here by 16 points last November."
(Obama and his backers need to get out of the bed and small what the  voters are thinking and trying to say.)

TOMORROW IS THE DAY! POLL: BROWN UP BY 9 in Mass.

With the clock ticking inexorably towards Tuesday's election and a new poll showing them in a dead heat, Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Scott Brown are crisscrossing the state today in a last-minute scramble for votes in a race that has drawn national attention.

Coakley, after stops in Newton and Pittsfield, swung into Springfield to rally supporters for one final stop in Western Massachusetts. As she walked into the Teamsters Local 404 hall, they shouted "Martha! Martha! Martha!"

(You never know what will happen in an election  until the votes are added up but what is happening in this one state which most of the time votes towards the left should tell Obama and his backers that what they are doing is not what the American people want.  It is not just health care but  across the board. If this election goes the way most polls are showing we will see the end of Obamacare around Tuesday night. However look for the left to try to push forced government healthcare through before Brown is seated. Again it is not over until the fat lady sings but the polls  are showing a good night could be ahead for us on the right.)

Rating drops below 50% for Nelson

The battle over health care legislation has taken its toll on U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson's political well-being, despite the Democrat's efforts to sell Nebraskans on his vote.

Nelson, who once enjoyed some of the highest job performance marks in the U.S. Senate, has now seen his approval rating dip below 50 percent in Nebraska, according to The World-Herald Poll.

Nelson said the poll results come as no surprise, especially since Nebraskans have been “bombarded” with millions of dollars in “misleading advertisements.”

He said he expects that people will come to appreciate the health care bill.

“I believe that, over time, as the special interest ads subside, Nebraskans will understand the bill I support will improve their health care, because it ends the denial of coverage due to pre-existing conditions, it reduces spiraling costs and it provides new access to coverage for 220,000 Nebraskans without health care today,” Nelson said in a written statement.

(Nelson needs to wake up and stop blaming “misleading advertisements.”  Just by saying that Nelson is putting down the Nebraska voters  and saying we can be fooled. Nelson is trying to outsmart the Nebraska voters but we aren't falling for it. Read more on this issue Rating drops below 50% for Nelson.)
