A columnist for The Boston Globe predicts that if Republican Senate
candidate Scott Brown wins tonight in Massachusetts, President Obama's
healthcare legislation in its current form will be defeated.
Republicans and
Democrats in Massachusetts are predicting a high turnout today as the battle to
succeed the late Senator Edward Kennedy goes down to the wire. Special elections
tend to draw relatively few voters, but Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican
Scott Brown are locked in a neck-and-neck race in a state that has not elected a
Republican senator since 1972.
(To read more on this issue Dems face 'un-ignorable wake-up
call'. In a few hours we could see the end of Obamacare thanks to the good people and voters in Mass. Lets all keep our fingers crossed.)
