Rebels a fit for wayward teens

MarMark Schiller is a Harley-riding tough guy with long hair and multiple tattoos who remodeled his wayward life and works tirelessly to help people in need. About nine years ago, Schiller turned a tattered  biker bar into a house of worship and a safe spot for teenagers to gather.

Firm will remove Bible references from gun sights

A Michigan defense contractor will voluntarily stop stamping references to Bible verses on combat rifle sights made for the U.S. military, a major buyer of the company's gear.

In a statement released Thursday, Trijicon of Wixom, Mich., says it is also providing to the armed forces free of charge modification kits to remove the Scripture citations from the telescoping sights already in use. Through multimillion dollar contracts, the Marine Corps and Army have bought more than 300,000 Trijicon sights.

The references to Bible passages raised concerns that the citations break a government rule that bars proselytizing by American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, which are predominantly Muslim countries.

A spokesman for U.S. Central Command initially said the Trijicon sights didn't violate the ban and compared the citations on the sights to the "In God We Trust" inscription printed on U.S. currency.

(The world with the help of the courts and much of culture is turning more and more to be anti God. Also lets make no bones about it we are talking about the Christian God. Read more on this issue Firm will remove Bible references from gun sights.)

Poll shows Muslim prejudice

A messianic Jewish leader isn't surprised that a recent Gallup survey shows Americans are more than twice as likely to express "prejudice" against Muslims than against Christians, Jews, or Buddhists.

The analysis from the Gallup World Religion Survey is part of a project on finding ways to increase understanding between Americans and Muslims. (Poll shows Muslim prejudice )

Just over half of Americans polled said they feel no prejudice against Muslims; however, 43 percent acknowledged at least "a little" prejudice against Muslims, making a significantly higher percentage than that of the other faiths in the survey.

Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries, says no one should be surprised by this poll.
"How else are Americans supposed to act when political correctness let an Army major at Fort Hood go and shoot up and kill or wound dozens of American military personnel?" she wonders, also making mention of "the Christmas bomber who tried to blow up Northwest Flight 253."
From the poll results, Markell finds reason to believe that Americans want to hold a different image of Muslims. "Until we start seeing them marching in our parades, waving a flag; until Americans see Muslims start physically demonstrating a love for this country, how can Americans be anything but suspicious?" she asks.
(The truth is we are in a fight with radical followers of Islam. Their faith teaches them to hate us,  our faith, and   to destroy America along with Israel. Yes there are good people in Islam but  the teachings of Islam  tells it's followers to do those things.)

Brown stopped America's 'bleeding' and Will Save Unborn Kids

A Christian attorney and conservative political activist says newly elected Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown was the "tourniquet" that temporarily stopped America's "bleeding" caused by the agenda of President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.

Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel writes in a new column for Townhall.com that although Scott Brown is "woefully flawed" on social issues, including abortion, his win was still a "victory for life and liberty."

"Obama, as I say in the column, has sliced open America's wrists with his cutting political agenda," the attorney notes. "Time is of the essence, and by providing Senate Republicans the crucial 41st vote needed to filibuster 'ObamaCare' and other radical leftist and socialist and anti-life policies, Scott Brown essentially provides the tourniquet."

Barber adds that he would not have been willing to endorse Scott Brown's campaign because of his pro-abortion stance, however he's cheering Brown's victory because he believes it may save untold thousands, if not millions, of unborn babies who would have been killed as a result of taxpayer-funded abortion in the healthcare bill.

(I am not a big fan of Brown's stand  on abortion but I do agree with  Barber that because Brown was elected  many unborn babies might be saved. Read more on this story Brown stopped America's 'bleeding'.)

'Family-planning services' in Haiti...now?

International Planned Parenthood is using the Haiti crisis to raise money.

Jim Sedlak of the American Life League and STOPP International notes that the funds are being raised supposedly to provide "family-planning services" and products in Haiti.

Sedlak says there are efforts by organizations to meet the health needs of Haitians, and that includes the health needs of women pregnant or otherwise -- and he supports that. But he suggests the Planned Parenthood campaign is totally illegitimate; that it is just a moneymaking scheme on the part of Planned Parenthood. The pro-life spokesman points out that Planned Parenthood did the same thing during the Hurricane Katrina relief effort several years ago. ('Family-planning services' in Haiti...now?  )

(This is an outrage but what do you expect from a group which  kills for profit. The Haitians need help in getting food  and the love of God not the help of some group that wants to help them kill children!)
