Former Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., gave his opinions Monday on several
hot-button political topics, including these.
On Obama: Hagel said the president is doing a generally good job and gave him
credit for restoring the U.S. image around the world. Hagel commended Obama for
taking on health care, even though the president “probably got too far ahead of
the public” on some aspects of the issue. Overall, he said, President Obama is
“a solid president for this country. (Hagel's opinions on D.C. topics )
(So Mr. Hagel thinks that Obama is making people around the world think better of America. There was a day when we wanted our leader to do what is right and best for America instead of being worried what others thought of us. Also where has Obama gotten anything for America because others like him. )
