An atheist organization wants the image of Mother Teresa removed from a U.S.
postage stamp.
The Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF) is calling for cancellation of
the stamp based on the alleged separation of church and state. Brad Dacus,
president of the Pacific Justice
Institute, believes the motion is outrageous.
"For her to be excluded simply because of her religious background for her
incredible public service to humanity would be a deplorable act by government
and uncalled for," he comments. (Stamping out Mother Teresa's postal
debut )
(If there is no God like this group preaches what difference does it make if Mother Teresa is on a postage stamp or not. This group wants to take all faith out of the culture. I bet no one who belongs to this group as done anything close to the good works that Mother Teresa did to help the poor and needy around the world.)
