Wonder why pro-choice is losing?

Why are groups such as the National Organization for Women (NOW), the Feminist Majority Foundation, the Women's Media Center, and numerous "pro-choice" groups apoplectic over a Super Bowl commercial sponsored by Focus on the Family?

Clearly, the commercial's subject matter has propelled it to the front ranks of controversy in the days leading to the Super Bowl. Entitled "Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life," the ad purportedly (though none of the ad's critics have actually seen it) tells the story of Florida All-American and Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow and his mother, Pam.

The "pro-choice" forces have been pressuring CBS to reverse itself and pull the ad. Why? I believe it's because this ad featuring Tim and his mother puts a dramatic human face on unborn children. It confronts people across the nation with the fact that every "problem pregnancy" involves not just a pregnant mother, but also a real, live unborn human being.

(The above is part of a piece written by Dr. Richard Land. Land writes the pro choice crowd is losing the battle for the hearts and minds of Americans because of  people like Tim Tebow. Instead of making their case why abortion is right they tried to stop the Super Bowl commercial from being played. I can't blame them. The only argument they have is it should be a right to kill children. That argument is starting more and more to  fall on deaf ears in  mainstream America. Tim Tebow's Father Bob Tebow Talks About Decision Against Abortion, Son's Birth

By now, most Americans have heard about the famous Tim Tebow advertisement Focus on the Family will air during the Super Bowl.

As most people know, Pam Tebow got sick with dysentery while on a missions trip to the Philippines and her doctors suggested she consider an abortion because of the medication she was taking while pregnant with Tim.

She refused, gave birth, and son Tim led the Florida Gators to a national championship and won the Heisman Trophy.

During a time with slightly less national attention focus on his family, Bob Tebow talked with Sports Illustrated about his son's famous birth story.

"Have you heard the story of Timmy's birth?" he told the magazine.

"When I was out in the mountains in Mindanao, back in '86, I was showing a film and preaching that night. I was weeping over the millions of babies being [aborted] in America, and I prayed, 'God, if you give me a son, if you give me Timmy, I'll raise him to be a preacher,'" he recalled.

Howard Stern to Replace Simon Cowell on 'IDOL'?

"American Idol" producers are eager to hire Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell as the show's tough-talking judge, sources tell Page Six.

An insider said that producers of the hit Fox show say Stern, America's highest-paid radio personality, is their top choice to take over from Cowell, who leaves at the end of this season. They approached the King of All Media after he repeatedly mentioned on-air that his exclusive Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January and he was open to other offers. Cowell was paid $50 million a year. (Howard Stern to Replace Simon Cowell on 'IDOL'?

(As a person of faith I believe all people can change but if Mr. Stern is still the same man who talks about  sick sex this is a bad move. This will end up costing this show viewers. I  don't watch  "American Idol" but I know people who do. I know at the same time because we live in a sick culture that this will help  this program  gain viewers. Of course Mr. Stern will have to clean up his act but how much because anymore anything goes on TV. This just might be another reason to give up  prime time TV  along with a reminder to pray for Mr. Stern because he is just a fruit of how sick our culture is.)

Super Bowl Pick

Super Bowl XLIV (44) is this coming Sunday. Are you ready?  You know what that means- it is time for me to make my pick on this game. Before I do that let me remind you of a warning this pick is just for fun I am not to blame if you bet the house or the wife and the kids on the game using my pick.
Unless you have been living in a cave you know that  the Indianapolis Colts  are playing the New Orleans Saints in this year's Super Bowl. Now I am a fan of the Colts  and as I have posted before I don't like picking games in which I am a fan of  a team playing but this is the Super Bowl so I must make a choice.
I will be happy for whoever wins because  New Orleans have been through so much. Also both teams based on what I know have good and Godly people  working for them. I believe the Colts will come out on top. I say somewhere between 10 and 14 points but more or less won't shock me.
May the best team win. Go Colts and Go Saints!

Dr. Laura: CBS Does the Right Thing for Super Bowl XLIV

I am so proud of the CBS Television Network.  There’s been a ridiculous furor over a planned Super Bowl ad featuring college football star Tim Tebow, funded by Focus on the Family.  It recounts the story of Pam Tebow’s pregnancy in 1987.  After getting sick, she ignored doctors’ recommendations to abort her fifth child, and gave birth to Tim Tebow, who went on to win the 2007 Heisman Trophy and guide the Florida Gators to two BCS championships.
(The above is part of a commentary  that Dr. Laura did a few days ago on her radio program. Read more below  of what Dr. Laura said.)
This should be an inspirational story for women.  Not according to NOW (the National Organization of “I don’t know what kind of” Women), NARAL, and other organizations which support women killing the babies in their bodies if they wanna.  These “feminista” types generally call themselves “pro-choice.”  Well, it looks like they’re not too happy about the promotion of women who don’t make the choice to kill their baby.

When a woman’s inspirational story of making the choice to avoid an abortion to take the risk of giving birth to her child becomes controversial in a culture, that culture has degraded to a horrible point.  It is frightening to me that NOT killing the baby in your body is controversial, but killing the baby in your body is not controversial.
(Amen Dr. Laura. This once again shows that those who have told us they are pro choice on the  abortion issue are really pro death. If  Pam Tebow was talking about how she had made the choice to kill Tim before he was born all these groups would be saying she made a brave  choice. So killing your child is a brave choice but giving life is not. Dr. Laura is right that  our culture  has degraded to a horrible point. How sick and sad. Please read the whole  commentary by Dr. Laura CBS Does the Right Thing for Super Bowl XLIV.)
