The Palestinians are planning a multi-nation public relations tour to try and
convince U.N. member nations to support a unilateral declaration of a
Palestinian state.
On Sunday, Palestinian leaders in the West Bank formally decided that come
September, they will seek U.N. recognition of a state in the West Bank, Gaza
Strip, and East Jerusalem.
As recently reported on OneNewsNow, Michigan Congressman Thaddeus
McCotter (R) has introduced H.R. 2261 in response to the Palestinian Authority's
lobbying of United Nations Assembly members. (Congressman: U.N. 'rarely' does
right thing )
"We
could cut off the funding to the U.N. if they go ahead and unilaterally
recognize a Palestinian state," he explains. "It's always best to be prepared
when it comes to the U.N., because rarely do you want to try to assume what
they're going to do, because rarely do they seem to know what they're doing, and
rarely do they seem to do the right thing."
(Billy's Thoughts>>> I believe we should have stopped supporting the UN years ago but for sure if this declaration passes we will have no choice even though our president is anti Israel.)
