In response to a lawsuit filed by an atheist group, a Christian
law firm says it's filing a "friend of the court" brief backing the pl
acement of
a cross at the museum commemorating the events of 9-11.
The American Center for Law &
Justice (ACLJ) is filing the amicus brief in support of the World Trade Center Memorial & Museum in New York City. It
wants to incorporate the 17-foot-tall "WTC cross," which consists of two
intersecting steel beams that held up when the Twin Towers collapsed on
September 11, 2001, as part of a memorial of what happened that fateful day. (Atheists cross about a special
