The Rev. John Stott, one of the most influential evangelical thinkers of the
20th Century, has died in London at the age of 90.
The Rev. Billy Graham released a statement saying, "The evangelical world
has lost one of its greatest spokesmen, and I have lost one of my close personal
friends and advisors." Graham and Stott were framers of the 1974 Lausanne
Covenant, which helped define modern evangelicalism. (Evangelical leader John Stott dies at
90 )
