While a pastor and bestselling author is "impressed" with Texas Governor Rick Perry, he believes the presidential candidate needs to answer some questions about his reported involvement with an Islamic organization.
Dr. David Jeremiah, senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church of El Cajon, California, and author of the soon to be released book, I Never Thought I'd See the Day!: Culture at the Crossroads, recognizes that he and the Texas governor see eye-to-eye for the most part. However, he believes Governor Perry has some explaining to do.
the pastor points out that Perry needs to respond to a recent report about his involvement with the Aga Khan Foundation, which developed a curriculum for the Texas public schools that whitewashes the negative aspects of Islam. (See earlier story)
